After an early breakfast, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin our adventure, heading to Tarangire National Park for a full day's safari with a picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River.
This is one of Tanzania's most beautiful parks, with an African landscape to match. The dense vegetation of giant African baobabs and acacia trees, and the immense swamps to the south, will captivate you. The tarangire river attracts wild animals, particularly in the dry season. It is home to one of Africa's largest elephant herds.
Lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, gazelles, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and monkeys are the animals we see most often in this park, but also fringed-eared oryx, starlings and greater kudu are rare species that you may be lucky enough to observe, as well as many other animals.
