Safari and Trek in Tanzania and Immersion with the Maasai

In the remote and ancestral lands of the Massais, between trekking with the Massais, immersion at the end of the world and safari adventures. Tanzania has much to offer the most adventurous and long-distance walkers in search of wilderness in search of wild lands and beautiful encounters. This itinerary, part of which is accessible accessible only on foot, will take you to some of the most spectacular lands in East East Africa. Day 1

Arrival in Tanzania at the airport

We will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2

Serengeti

After breakfast, we'll take the magnificent road to the park.
Serengeti National Park, a unesco World Heritage Site.
We pass the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which offers a breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro National Park.

You'll see numerous Massai villages (boma) dotted around these exceptional landscapes, and it's not uncommon to come across many Massai accompanied by their herds, and women going off in search of wood or water. The landscape gradually changes, giving way to a wild savannah and numerous Masai giraffes set the scene. The Serengeti finally comes into view, with its endless plains stretching as far as Kenya. Animals roam freely across these vast expanses.

Day 3

Serengeti

We'll get up early to watch the sunrise over the savannah, leaving the sun to shine.

Serengeti heading south in search of the figs five, with a picnic lunch in a secure area of the park. The endless plains of the Serengeti offer an African landscape dotted with umbrella-shaped acacia trees, and are home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, elephants, hyenas, hippos, jackals, warthogs, gazelles, crocodiles and many other animal and bird species. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the Black Rhinoceros.

Day 4

Ngorongoro

After a quick breakfast, you'll descend to the crater floor around 6.30 am. Visit
he Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of around 260 km2 with a depth of over 2,000 feet. The 5-hour safari on the crater floor will allow you to see many animals. African elephant, buffalo, black rhino, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs and lions are present in large numbers.
Later, you'll begin a steep ascent to the crater's exit and take the road towards Empakai crater.

Day 5

Empakai - Acacia camp

After breakfast, we walk along a path through the forest.
The landscape finally opens out onto high plateaus of extraordinary scenery. Along the rift valley, we head for Lake Natron in one of the world's most remote regions.
We pass through many small Maasai villages, and meet a large number of
numerous children, women and men, as well as their herds, often
accompanied by zebras and wildebeests in a spectacular, spellbinding landscape.
We set up camp in the shade of the acacia trees for a chat over coffee and tea, and later enjoy dinner by the fire and a good night's sleep.

Day 6

Acacia camp - Lake Natron

After breakfast, we start our hike at 6am. This
day is a little more adventurous, as the path is narrow and the soil sandy and
makes walking difficult. Soon we can see Lake Natron in the distance, a jewel of a lake.

walk along the slopes of the sacred volcano overlooking Ol Doinyo Lengai.

Day 7

Lake Natron - Massai village immersion

With our local Maasai guide, you can visit the Engare waterfalls.
Sero. After a short walk in the stream, we reach a beautiful swimming pool.

Day 8

Massai village immersion in Arusha

You'll be woken by the herds that form a veritable orchestra around you. The start of the day is marked by the young warriors leaving to graze the herds, while the women are busy milking and fetching water. We visit my schoolEramatare Experience's safaris and treks. So, when you travel with us, you're helping to educate 230 children, and contributing to their daily meals, in a region affected by drought.
You will be dropped off at your lodge in Arusha at the end of the day.
