Day 4

Encounters and escapism in paradise

Meeting with the women of a seaweed harvesting cooperative. Find out more
on seaweed cultivation, harvesting, drying and pounding methods.
The algae we cultivate and harvest are used in particular to make cosmetics.
The women of the cooperative make their own soaps. You'll have the chance to
buy if you want to make small gifts to your loved ones. You contribute to and participate in
the emancipation of the women of Zanzibar during this visit, €5 per passenger will be donated to

Over the lagoons

You will be transferred to Nungwi from where you will embark around 9-10am depending on
